Antiretroviral Treatment Roll-out in Asia: Using Big Data to Inform Policy

Antiretroviral treatment programs are rapidly expanding across Asia. The focus of these programs is changing to emphasize earlier HIV diagnosis and treatment at higher CD4 counts to improve patient outcomes and reduce onward HIV transmission. This symposium will bring together national treatment programs and WHO and cohort researchers to discuss how large cohort datasets might be used to inform antiretroviral treatment policy across the region.
